Google Profits Kit and Travis Made Cash Scam

by El Plumber (admin) on December 29, 2009

If you want the summary, yes, Travis did actually make cash.  But he did it by stealing from you.  And while you can work from home posting Google advertisements on the internet, you will get nothing but a giant headache and major screwing (and not the good kind) if you give these people your credit [...]

Every once in a while, someone with a misinformed opinion adds a comment to one of our Google Kit scam posts similar to the following.  This time it was courtesy of someone named “Jonathan” on our post about the Easy Google Profit scam:
I think you guys are idiots, how can you guys not read the [...]

We have a bunch of niche Wordpress sites that target various semi-popular search engine keywords.  Some are newer and earn less than $20 a month, some are about a year and a half old and earn over $1000 a month, others fall somewhere in between.
And on all of them we get complete junk comments left [...]

The Best Google Kit Scam Disclaimer

by El Plumber (admin) on October 16, 2009

[ad]
Found this awesome disclaimer on the fake news site consumer-weekly.com.  I think they are under the mistaken impression that somehow they can comply with FTC disclosure requirements by stretching the truth about earning potential and cost as long as they toss a giant disclaimer in tiny light gray text at the bottom of their fake [...]

Does the US Government give out thousands of dollars to people for working [...]

News 3 Show and News3insider.com Scam

by El Plumber (admin) on October 5, 2009

Before you go any further, no, Google is not hiring people to work from home.  They are not providing any kits to work from home, especially for the low low price of $1.97 which gets you to cough up your credit card number and later you notice you’ve been whacked for multiple card charges monthly.
Want [...]

Free Trial Scams And The FTC

by El Plumber (admin) on September 17, 2009

[ad]
With all the Google Fortune and Acai Berry and Tooth Whitening “free trial” scams being intensely advertised all over the internet, it’s hard to tell truth from fiction.  I’ve seen tons of sites recently touting  this “free” thing or that “free*” thing, sometimes with an * and sometimes without, depending on how close the advertiser [...]
