Someone apparently missed a setting on their WordPress comment spam tool and rather than posting a single comment line, they posted an entire list of about 100 generic comments here at the Electron Plumber.  Even better, they didn’t even leave a backlink in the URL field!

Most of the time these are filtered out by the AWESOME captcha powered comment spam plugin I have installed that requires a human to type out a captcha if there is a link in the comment or certain bad words, like viagra, porn, plumbers, electricians, etc.  Yeah, I get a lot of home service spam comments because of the site name.

So for the most part, the only spam comments I ever see are the ones that have a human spammer behind them or had a glitch that doesn’t include a link.  And the great thing is, anyone posting a real comment that somehow gets caught can still bypass the filter simply by filling in the captcha phrase.

So far the plugin has blocked and rejected 24143 spam comments!  Even if it only takes 10 seconds to reject each spam message, that’s 24143 seconds or over 6 hours of my life saved.  Love it!

The thought people have here is to auto blast out generic comments to a giant list of WordPress pages in the hope that some are unmoderated and others are moderated by poor souls who can’t recognize comment spam.   Include a link and you have instant low value backlinks!  Put like anything else, post enough of them and they start to add up eventually.

I don’t go for such shenanigans myself but I do manual blog commenting when I’m in the mood.  I like to actually join the discussion when I do, but if you are feeling lazy maybe you can use one of these bad boys below.  Or maybe not, most of them have terrible grammar.  At least they’re good for a laugh.

Next time if you give out your credit card number i advise you to read everthing before you sign up. Basically what you guys have done was gave a person your credit card information without reading anything. Its like signing a contract without reading anything. Good Grief. I hope these stupid people may stop putting advertisement saying this is a “scam”, while there are advertising other online business opportunities and advertising there links to earn money from people. So lame hypocrites. Thank you and that is my 2 cent.

Funny thing is, if we go check out traffic logs, the people who post these types of comments typically arrive here by searching for something like “easy google profit affiliate”, meaning they are looking for how to get in on this scam and make money off honest folk like you.

Well folks, there is no miracle at kevinsmoneytree.org, just another fake blog trying to convince you that they know the secret of how you can “post links for Google” and earn money to the tune of $500 to $1500 a week doing so, all for only $1.95 shipping!

There are so many of these work at home part time make money with Google blogs that we here at the Electron Plumber are having trouble keeping up.   I’m thinking of making a master list of all these sites that people can cross check before they give anyone their credit card.

2. This “blog” is only one single page, every link on it pointing to the secure1.profitcenterlearning.com site.
3. The profitcenterlearning.com site telling us there at only 56 slots left!  Come back in an hour, still 56 slots left!
4. Google AdSense is an actual program where Google puts ads on sites.  We use them on this site.  They DO NOT “pay out” in 48 hours.  It takes 30-60 days before you’ll see any money from it.
5. Fill in your info and they ask you for $1.95 for “shipping”.

Note what they DON’T tell you on this page.  Go check out the “Terms and Conditions” and you’ll see this buried in there:

“Should You fail to cancel Your Subscription within the 7 day trial, You will be billed $1.95. Additionally, You will be billed $69.90 again 7 days from the Trial Start date  and every month thereafter for Your monthly Subscription unless canceled by You.”

There are some good work at home programs and money making online sites out there.  Your first indication that any given site is NOT one of them is if they feel the need to trick you into giving up your credit card by making you think you’re only paying $1.95.

Folks, if you haven’t been tricked already, stay away from this one!

3. Call/write your credit card company and dispute the charges.  They never clearly disclosed the charges you were signing up for, so you have a case here.
4. Monitor your identity by clicking here to sign up for Experian ID Protection monitoring.  Sadly, you just gave some shady characters your name, address, phone number, credit card and secret 3 digit card number.  Unlike the Google Money Kit, Experian clearly states that it’s actually 100% free for a full 30 days, then only $9.95 a month to monitor your credit accounts for fraud and identity theft.  I’d suggest signing up for AT LEAST the free month to make sure no one tries to change your address or open a new card using the current cards details you gave away.

Scotts Money Blog has our old friend the work at home part time for Google Salesman back at it again.  These Google Cash Kit and Google Biz Kit fake work from home for Google blogs just keep coming and coming. Every time I read a news site or go to Facebook, I trip over another couple trying to convince you that for only $1 or $1.95, you too can make money online “posting links for Google”. Why do I think these earn money online blogs and the sites they link to are scams in my opinion? Read on!

The main reason is, you should never pay for any earn from home jobs and the Google Adsense program is 100% fee free.  Any site that tries to tell you otherwise is likely trying to scam you.

Scotts Money Blog and the Google Cash Kit Scam

This time, lets take a trip down Scotts Money Blog and spot the warning signs.

• Scott is from your town originally!  Or at least your internet provider’s town that is.  The blog uses an IP tracker to see where you are connecting from, then fills in your town name or one near you to make you think that Scott is a neighbor, making you more likely to fall for it.
• You can make some money “working” for Google by posting ads on your site using Adsense.  BUT, they do not pay out in 48 hours like the blog suggests, but in 30-60 days.  And then typically only pennies per click.  You need 5000-20000 clicks a month depending on your niche to clear $1000, which means 100,000-400,000 visitors to your site each month.  Good luck.
• The sites details and images are virtually identical to hundreds of other fake blogs out there.  Check out some of our other posts for more details.
• Fake comments with no dates associated with them at the bottom of the blog, no method to add comments.
• Feedburner images for this single page blog with 23,823 RSS subscribers.  Yeah right.
• RSS Subscribe buttons take you to the pitch page.

Ok, got all those?  Now click on a Google Cash Kit or Internet Biz Kit link and go to the pitch page.  Here is where bells should really start going off.  Welcome back to our old friend “securecartcenter.com”

• Blinking buttons and a countdown timer to nothing.
• Random logos litter the page with no citations.  CNBC?  ABC?  CNN?  And what is the giant Smily Face at the end?  Just kidding?
• On the Easy Google Cash Kit Profit site, there is NO indiciation you will be charged $75+ after 7 days.
• On the My Internet Payday site, there is at least some fine print at the bottom warning you:  “At the end of your 7 day trial period you will be charged $78.64 per month for access to the My Internet Payday training program.”

What makes these sites scams in my opinion?  Well, all of the above!  The My Internet Payday has the most information about how they are going to nail your credit card after 7 days.  In my opinion, no legimitate make money online program would need such trickery.  Just come out and say it right where you enter your card, not after the page fold buried in some fine print.

What Should I Do If I Get Taken?

1. Don’t feel bad!  Seems like hundreds if not thousands of people have been taken in by these sort of “negative option” offers that trick you by not clearly disclosing you are signing up for monthly charges.  You were tricked, it happens to the best of us.

Google Cash Kit Scam – ScottsMoneyBlog.com Scott Hunter Tricks You. is a post from: ElectronPlumber

These ads for work at home part time job for Google sites just keep on coming.  I found another Easy Google Profit securecartcenter.com fake blog site this morning, this one from Corey Peters at Corey Got Green (coreygotgreen.com).  Funny thing was, I didn’t find this one through an ad right away, but rather on the Alexa top 15 Hot URLs.  Nestled among such top stories as “Pirates attack tanker; NATO frees 20 fishermen” at Yahoo and “‘Talent’ star keeps singing, raves keep coming” on CNN was the Corey Got Green work at home part time job site advertising for Google Cash Kit (Free!).

In my opinion, the Corey Got Green site is one the worst of these work at home sites so far, maybe crossing the line from scam into outright fraud.

Why do I think this?

• Fake Blog – no place to comment, no other posts, nothing.
• Free – Not a single comment on the “blog” about how they’re going to charge you a monthly fee of at least $125 on the credit card you give them for the FREE offer.  Wait, it’s “free” but you have to pay $1.95 for shipping to have them email you a link.  How is $1.95 for electronic delivery free?
• Notice how Corey lives in your town?  He lives in my town too.
• Clicking on any link for the Google Cash Kit takes you to securecartcenter.com and the Easy Google Profit site.  Now this is where you are about to be tricked.  Enter your address, then it asks for your credit card.  Nowhere on either of those two pages does it say ANYTHING about how much you will be charged.  However, hidden at the bottom of the page and in tiny font is a link to the Terms And Conditions.  Click on it and read and find this:

The initial shipping and handling charge of one dollars and ninety seven cents, includes the google treasure chest kit as well as seven days worth of access to the online directories and training. After seven days, if you choose not to cancel, you will be billed your first monthly membership fee of seventy two dollars and twenty one cents for the membership fee for the googletreasurechest.com membership. Membership fees will be charged to the credit card used by you to complete the transaction. You have also unlocked a fourteen-day trial and twenty one-day trial to the Fraud SafeLockID and GrantSpring for just $38.84 and $24.87 a month thereafter (shows as “SafeLockID” and “GrantSpring”) should you choose not to cancel.”

Got that?  They’re going to whack you for $125 a month in three different charges in the hope that if you cancel one, they’ll sneak the other two by you for a month or two.  And no where on the page where you enter your credit card is there even a hint about ongoing monthly charges.  At least the other sites put a disclaimer at the bottom.  Not this one.

What do you get for signing up?  I don’t know since I haven’t tried it.  Needless to say, anyone that needs to trick customers to this level is NOT worth looking at seriously.  Whatever they are offering can’t stand on it’s own merits.

What Is A Google Biz Kit?

I keep seeing ads for one Mrs. Mary Steadman make money working at home “blog” pushing something called a Google Biz Kit.   The names keep changing on these Google Biz Kit work at home part time job sites, but the bad deals keep coming.  It’s almost like as soon as I post about one site offering this work from home on the internet for $1 deals, another pops up in it’s place.  Literally in the middle of writing this article the ad I found changed from linking to Mary’s Money Blog to Kevin Gets Green for Kevin Hoeffer and back again!

How do these earn at home working for Google blog sites work? Can you really make money online, and will it only cost $1 to find out how to make thousands of dollars a month working a couple of hours a day from home? And does Google really pay people to post links? Well, yes and no. For a detailed explanation of how the whole thing works, check out The Easy Google Profit Scam.

Why is this Google Biz Kit a scam in my opinion?  And how can you, gentle reader, spot these types of scams for yourself?

1. Check out the Comments section.  There is no where to actually enter comments!  They’ve all very likely been faked.
2. Google does actually pay people, but only through it’s Adsense program.  It’s what automatically puts context sensitive ads on websites and the most popular internet advertising program in the world.  They pay out 30-60 days AFTER a link has been clicked, NOT 72 hours. And then typically they only pay out a couple of CENTS per click.
3. For the Google Biz Kit and Internet Biz Kit, you only need to spend $1 and $1.95 for shipping, which should raise some flags.  Shipping charge for an electronic delivery?  What?   What the blog fails to tell you is that likely before you figure it out, your “7 day trial” will be up and they’ll whack your credit card for $150 combined.

What do you likely get for your $150 combined?  A bunch of tired old eBooks on how you could have made money 5 years ago using Google Adsense and Adwords?  A pyramid scheme to sell other people the Google Biz Kits?  Probably.  I haven’t bought one so I don’t know.  One thing is for sure, no worthwhile make money program would EVER need to trick people into paying $150 for it like this.  That’s why it’s a scam in my opinion.

This “Josh Made Cash” work at home make money ad that is now back on Facebook after a brief hiatus.  I’ve been seeing these work from home with Easy Google Profit ads everywhere, especially the ones for joshmadecash.com and one Mr. Josh Parker touting the work at home part time job Google Biz Kit on his money blog. Who is Josh? Did He Really Make Cash?

The teaser pages aren’t real blogs and only serve to give you confidence that the part time earn money online with Google offer is actually real.  They were able to make $5000 a month working at home for Google, why can’t you!  Of course, as you scan the list of names and sites below, you’ll see how these “blogs” are fake. How does it work and how do they get away with this?

Can You Make Money Working At Home For Google?  Is it a scam?

First, lets define the terms:

• Rip-Off – Something not worth what you paid for it.   Most eBooks and programs fall into this category in my opinion.  They ask you to take a leap of faith that their get rich quick scheme is better than the rest and shell out $39 or $59 or $99 or $499 for what is typically a PDF or a couple of homemade videos of a rehashed make money working at home program, and enough people seem to do it to keep them in business.   You know what you are getting into payment wise when you drop your credit card number, it’s just not a good deal.
• Scam – Involves being tricked somehow.   A part time job working at home for Google Treasure Chest  goes from a rip-off to a scam when the fine print is so fine that you do not know you’re paying $49 for it, and worse that they start charging your credit card monthly as well.
• Fraud – Involves actual theft.  There was no fine print or your credit card number was stolen and used to buy expensive computer equipment in Minsk.

So where do these work at home ads fit?  In my opinion, they certainly fit into the “Scam” category defined above.  The fact that it’s not free and that they’ll start charging your credit card anywhere from $40 to $140 a month starting 7 days after you sign up is not made clear anywhere but buried deep in the fine print.  If it can’t be sold with upfront pricing based on the merits of the program, then it’s a scam in my opinion.

Check out the very latest Facebook ads for the work at home program at kevinsmoneytree.org. I’m not sure if these ads and sites keep changing because they are getting banned from Facebook and the scammers keep putting up new ones, or if they just keep rotating the part time job ads in the hopes of catching people who might have caught on to the scam before. Very likely it’s to avoid articles like this one which call out their tricks so they change names and keep going. Anyway, today we’re talking about one Mr Kevin Collins.

Married, to Samantha no less. Interesting that he welcomes you to his work from home secrets site KevinsMoneySecrets.com in his posting, even though he’s now at kevinsmoneytree. I suspect he got chased up a Google Money Tree by a mob of screaming angry scammed consumers and thus changed his site name. He has a double get rich quick scheme for you.

Google Money System Scam

The first from Google Money System which is the same scam we exposed in our article on Google Kits, Google Cash, and Google Money Tree Scams, just now under the name  Google Money System.  Click on it and you go to secure.emillionaireinstitute.com where if you give them your credit card you’ll see three different monthly charges appear for 39.95, 24.95, and 12.95, plus various 2.95 fees on top.  Good luck canceling those.

Obama Government Grant Scam

The second is pretty much the same scam, offering info on government grants that can easily be had for free else where.  Click on the Obama Secure Grant Now link and you’re brought to a site called www.federalgovernmentgrantsolutions.com where you’ll also be scammed out of various montly fees.  Same thing we exposed in our article on Obama Government Grant Scam Ads, just slightly different pictures. It’s going to take the Feds months or years to track down and stop these people, and even if they do, once they take it, you’ll never see the money they took from you again.  The only thing to do is warn everyone you can not to fall for it.  Here is what you can do to help:

Check out the latest Facebook Ad scam.  First it was Google cash part time jobs ads, then it was Obama government grants.   Now, two great scams taste scammy together, and for kicks throw in a “free” credit report for the trifecta of cheating you out of your hard earned money!

No longer content to pitch people part time jobs and grant scams individually, they’ve combined them all into one ad, hoping that you’re like most Americans and carry a decent amount of debt around.  At least enough to click on the ad where you’ll be presented with three different scam offers, all for $1 each!  Only pay shipping and handling fees!

So you click through the ad link above and what are you presented with?  A list of three things that “Kelly” did to erase her $20,000 debt!  Did she forget to mention that one of the things she did was to scam you out of $14.95 monthly?  Or $29.95 monthly?

Check out the links above to see the type of site you’re brought to, whatever you do, DO NOT give them your credit card number or real email address and make sure you read ALL the fine print to see exactly how they’re going to turn that $1 “shipping” fee into a monthly charge on your card that you’ll have to fight to stop.

It’s going to take the Feds months or years to track down and stop these people, and even if they do, once they take it, you’ll never see the money they took from you again.  The only thing to do is warn everyone you can not to fall for it.

Debt Free Kelly – Reduce Your Debt Ads – The Facebook Ad Scam Trifecta is a post from: ElectronPlumber

If you’ve spent anytime on Facebook lately, you’ve seen these ads for the wonderful part time jobs they’re trying to fill over at peoplemakingmoney.net, moniestory.com, KevinHoeffer.com, Paulgetspaid.com makecashmonies.com, and emillionaireinstitute.com.  Saw one today for NicksGreen.com They all lead to a similar looking site eventually.  That should be the first indication it’s a scam.

Facebook Ads for $50-$90/hr Part Time Jobs With Google Cash Kits

Paid advertising for work at home $88 an hour part time jobs?  Like every poor sap working full time for $10 an hour or even $20 an hour wouldn’t jump at the chance to make 4 times their current salary working from home?  That should be the second indication something is wrong. If a make money online offer sounds too good to be true or requires you to pay a fee, be wary!

I’ve been hitting Facebook a lot lately, getting back in touch with old friends, doing research on using Facebook to make money by working from home, and in between the ads of the buff guy shaving his chest and the Fear No Man Martial Arts ads, these earn money quick with Google ads keep popping up over and over:

Looks great huh!  Work From Home! Make Money Online! Get rich quick! $50-$100 an hour!  Just enough to catch people’s interest but not too much to be totally outside of the realm of possibility ($300-1000 an hour!)

Why are these scams in my opinion? Read on!

This is a technique called “Split Testing” where you show different landing pages to different people in order to determine which is most effective.

The guys picture never changes on any of these sites, but his name does.  Sometimes he’s Robert McCabe, sometimes he’s Stephen Williamson, sometimes he’s Ryan Craig, sometimes he’s Kevin Hoeffer, sometimes he’s Kevin Larsen, sometimes he’s Tom Williamson, sometimes he’s Nick Peters, now today he’s Paul Steinbach.  The names change every couple of days to avoid people searching the internet to see if it’s a scam or not.

There are six “comments” on this “blog”, but if you look closly, there is no comment form where anyone could have actually commented.   Scam Alert #3!

Google Money Tree, Earn Google Cash Kits or Google Kits Scam

Sometimes it’s for Google Kits, sometimes it’s for Google Cash, sometimes it’s for Google Money Tree.  All claim to let you make tons of money working from home with almost no effort. If you search for those names, they all of seem to be old tired Clickbank type eBooks on how to make money putting ads for other Clickbank junk on Google Adwords from 4-6 years ago.

For absolutely totally FREE, you can have your own Google Kit for only $3.88 Shipping!  Yesterday it was only $1 shipping and brought you to a different landing page after the initial “squeeze page”, but I’m guessing the guy learned something from his split testing and modified his offer.

Ok, enter in your details and you’re now asked for your credit card, which will be charged $3.88 shipping for something.  Sounds like a deal huh!   How could you possibly go wrong for $3.88?  Read the fine print off to the side buried in the middle of a paragraph:

That’s my bold type in the middle.  That’s right folks, after 7 days they’re going to whack your credit card for $72.21 every month for access to some marketing website!  Good luck finding a phone number to call and cancel your “subscription”, I strongly suspect one doesn’t exist (certainly isn’t on this page).  And since you won’t notice until they’ve charged your card and they don’t offer refunds, you’ve just been taken!

If you got taken by Google Cash or Google Money Tree or Google Kits, your best bet it to go straight to your credit card company and dispute the charges but be prepared for the credit card company to side with these sites, since they are currently following the letter of the law by disclosing the monthly reoccurring charges.  They certainly aren’t following the spirit of the law by hiding it in the fine print.

Don’t ever give any site your credit card that you don’t trust.  At the very least, make sure they have a legitimate business address and are selling something that isn’t too good to be true.  You’ll get screwed. Any real legit work at home free money making offer won’t ask for your credit card.

Note to Facebook:  Get your advertiser quality together or you’re going to seriously tarnish your ad image to your users.  I’m sure these people are paying you quite a lot per click, seeing as how they stand to make $70+ a month of each poor unsuspecting person who types in their card info.  The number of ads Facebook shows are limited to 50 or so it seems.  Just assign a intern to scan each one for scams and save yourself a ton of “Face” by shutting down the scammers!

What Should I Do If I Get Taken?

1. Don’t feel bad!  Seems like hundreds if not thousands of people have been taken in by these sort of “negative option” offers that trick you by not clearly disclosing you are signing up for monthly charges.  You were tricked, it happens to the best of us.
2. Call the number provided on the website that took you in IMMEDIATELY.  Have more than one witness listen when you call and/or record the conversation if possible.  Unfortunately many people have complained that they can never get anyone to talk to when they call.  Finding that number is up to you, they seem to keep changing.
3. Call/write your credit card company and dispute the charges.
4. I Didn’t Get Taken, But What Can I Do To Help?

It’s going to take the Feds months or years to track down and stop these people, and even if they do, once they take it, you’ll never see the money they took from you again.  The only thing to do is warn everyone you can not to fall for it.

2. Use the “Share This” link below to Digg or Twitter or Stumble or Reddit or whatever service you use to share this so that other people might see it before they get scammed too!
3. File a Complaint to the ICCC (Internet Crime Complaint Center) at ic3.gov.
