I didn't say it was a "good thing". That said, US$3500 back is definitely better than $0.

I talked to the Commerce Commission in New Zealand who said that I was unlikely to see any of my money again. I told Elite World Systems that I wanted my money back (US$6150 - which was then NZ$7600). After agreeing to lift the refund from US$3000 to US$3500 I got confident I would get it all back. E.W.S turned down an attempt to increase it further. The US$3500 returned is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, and it leaves me about US$2650 out of pocket. But it's better than nothing.

Rob G. (NZ)
I joined in December 2009 and spent thousands. After complaining that my site was not making any money and i was going to ask for my refund they told me to "hold off" and then started "pumping through" commission sales (of which most only returned $10 each), but still never made enough to cover the cost of my elite package.
They kept me hanging on a thread for a year and then i forgot to renew my site (funny they didn't go out of their way to remind me of this).
So being inactive for a year, should i be able (or within my rights - HA) to ask for a refund? I did 3 training sessions (paid for a year), paid for views/traffic which did not reach the target paid for, and "pay per click".
Are any of these scenario's similar to yours? I'd like to know what they will try and "hit" me with!

So let me just get this straight here Rob G. You paid them $8000 for a junk cookie cutter web site, and were refunded $4500. So essentially you paid $3500 for a junk cookie cutter web site. And somehow that's a good thing? How is that ok?

Kia Ora

After spending around NZ$8000 on Elite World Systems, and not being satisfied with what I paid for, I asked for a refund and came to an amicable agreement with them that they would pay US$3500 (NZ$4500 or there abouts). Per our agreeement I agreed to put this message up when they finished paying out. This they did in mid-November.

Sadly, it seems some of the people who have been scammed/ripped off are not even aware of it due to their lack of knowledge - take for example this 1 review (positive) on the BBB page for Elite World Systems:
http://www.bbb.org/phoenix/Business-Reviews/business-consultants/elite-world-systems-in-phoenix-az-1000014047/Customer-Reviews/

However if you look at her site (mentioned in the review) you will see that it is just another cookie cutter banner farm affiliate page which will never earn any meaningful revenue from Amazon. :( Therefore any advice or coaching she received while it may have been "friendly" and "patient" is clearly very bad advice as it is wrong and worthless. So she has paid (overpaid) for a very poor website and very bad advice/coaching.

Sadly people may see that one review and that it is positive and go ahead with Elite World Systems /OHN despite the F rating - so if anyone with experience of Elite World Systems has the time to leave a review on the BBB site you may prevent other people from falling into the same trap.

Hi El Plumber, I have read- as much as I can- the replies and I hate the fact that companies knowingly rip people off. I actually mentioned to the guy at Elite World Systems that people out there are giving them a bad rap to which he referred to this site and said that El plumber is a rival company.....hmmmm...there must be 400 rival companies linked to you!!!! :) He mentioned that other webhsosting companies don't give as much support as there's does....
I've started up a free blog using blogger based upon some really good advice from the great people I've been chatting to (and actaully referred me to this site). Thru my blog I'll advertise Amazon!! Save myself the $29.95 a month!
Thank you Gareth, I'll locate your previous email and make it my mission to get my money back from these rip off merchants who sounded so nice!

Thanks guys!
